Peppery Bacon Jam Brussels Sprouts August 27 2013

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 3 tbsp quality olive oil
  • 3 oz The Bacon Jams Black Pepper Spreadable Bacon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Set The Bacon Jams Black Pepper Spreadable Bacon aside. Cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil, and pepper. Pour them on a sheet pan and roast for 35-40 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly. Remove from oven and toss with The Bacon Jams Black Pepper & Honey Jam in a mixing bowl, and serve immediately.
