Bacon Jam and Chevre Stuffed Roasted Asian Pears March 31 2014
- 2 large Asian Pears
- 4 oz The Bacon Jams Black Pepper Spreadable Bacon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 4 oz Chevre cheese
- ¼ cup roasted walnuts, rough chopped
Halve the pears and scrape out the seeds and core area, making a divot in the middle of each one. Place them on a baking sheet. In a mixing bowl, fold The Bacon Jams Black Pepper Spreadable Bacon and the Chevre together. Stuff each pear with the bacon jam-cheese mixture, then drizzle the butter on them. Put the pan in the oven preheated to 325 degrees and bake for 25 minutes, or until pears are cooked but not falling apart. Garnish with walnuts and serve.
