Sweet Bacon Jam Spanish Rice Recipe March 10 2014
- 2 tbs The Bacon Jam Red Chile and Garlic Bacon Jam
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup chunky salsa
Fire up a skillet on medium heat. Throw in onion, cooking until tender translucent. Mix rice into skillet, while constantly stirring. As the rice starts to brown, pour in the broth. Mix the salsa as the broth begins to simmer. Let simmer on low while covered for 20 minutes, until liquid has been absorbed. Mix in The Bacon Jams Red Chile and Garlic flavor Bacon Jam.
