The Bacon Jams Szechuan Stir Fry February 24 2014

Don't order take-out tonight... try this spicy stir fry with bacon jam!


  • 2 tbs The Bacon Jams Red Chile & Garlic Spreadable Bacon
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, pounded and cut into strips
  • 2 tbs soy oil
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs ginger
  • 1/4 cup scallions
  • 1 cup onions
  • 1 cup zucchini
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1/4 cup green peppers
  • 1/4 cup red pepper
  • 1/4 cup yellow peppers
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • ½ lb rice noodles


Julienne the peppers, zucchini, and onions. Mince the ginger, and slice the mushrooms. Flower the broccoli and chop the scallions. Fire up a pan or wok. When its hot, add the soy oil. Add the ginger and onions and stir fry for 1 minute. Add the chicken, broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, soy sauce, and sherry. Stir fry until the chicken is cooked through. Add the scallions and The Bacon Jams Red Chile & Garlic Spreadable Bacon and cook for one more minute. Cook rice noodles according to directions and toss into sauce after straining. Serve hot!
