Sweet Bacon Jam Broccoli December 23 2013

The Bacon Jams: Making vegetables edible since 2013! (Just kidding, we love veggies but are here to spruce them up too!)


  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped into in florets
  • 6 oz The Bacon Jams All Original Spreadable Bacon
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Trim florets from the broccoli and set aside. Heat sauté pan to medium on cook top and add olive oil to hot pan. When the oil shimmers, add the broccoli florets and stir to coat evenly with oil. Add salt and pepper.

Mince garlic while waiting for broccoli to sauté. Let sauté for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until color starts to develop on the broccoli tips and they are suitably tender. Add garlic to pan and stir in, cooking another minute or two until a garlic aroma develops. To finish, add The Bacon Jams All Original Spreadable Bacon to the pan and stir in evenly to coat the florets.

If you prefer more bite, substitute All Original for The Bacon Jams Black Pepper Spreadable Bacon.
