Roasted Red Chile & Garlic Bacon Jam Wings December 12 2013
This has to be one of my favorite recipes because it has the three key features: Simple, delicious and gluttonous!
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbs vegetable oil
- 4 oz The Bacon Jams Red Chile & Garlic
Spicy Option - Sriracha or your favorite, not-too-vinegary hot sauce
PreparationPreheat oven to 400 degrees. Toss the wings in a mixing bowl with the oil. Set the bowl aside for later. Bake the wings on a baking sheet in the oven for 30 minutes, or until wings begin to crisp. Pull the wings out and toss in the mixing bowl with The Bacon Jams Red Chile & Garlic Bacon Spread (and your optional hot sauce) and return to the oven for 15 minutes or until the sauce begins to caramelize. Remove from oven, serve hot and be a game-day hero.
